Store Management Opportunity

Stratco seeks a seasoned Store Manager to oversee daily operations, sales, stock management and team leadership within our Mt Barker store. Reporting directly to the SA Retail Manager, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, organizing sales plans and maintaining a culture of safety.

This is a permanent full-time position with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong merchandising skills, the ability to build customer relationships and attract trades business, as well as a passion for creating brand loyalty.

The successful applicant will have retail and/or trade outlet experience, a positive selling attitude, and the ability to empower their team to sell. A self-starter with excellent communication and leadership skills, they will be able to set goals and deliver sales targets while coaching and mentoring their team.

About the Role:

  • General store management activities
  • Liaise directly with customers face-to-face and via telephone sales
  • Working with sales & design systems to draft quotes &/or completed designs for customers
  • Store merchandising and stock control
  • Developing rosters and training programs
  • Adhere to critical safety rules and contribute to a safe working environment

Key Requirements:

  • Retail and/or trade outlet experience essential
  • Strong merchandising skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to build your customer base and attract and manage trades business
  • Have a level of technical acumen to understand engineered products
  • Passionate about creating brand loyalty
  • Positive selling attitude with the ability to empower your team to sell
  • A self-starter able to set goals and deliver sales targets
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop your team
