Investment Data Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Investment Data Analyst to contribute to the delivery and strategic sourcing of investment data. As an integral part of our dynamic team, you will ensure high-quality data development, implementation, integration, and quality assurance measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and significantly contribute to meeting stakeholder expectations for investment data
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive expectation management and support daily operational data ingestion, transformation, and delivery activities
  • Produce structured and consistent documentation of business requirements and contribute to maintaining business and technical metadata within data governance platforms

Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or significant commercial experience
  • Formal qualifications or experience in Superannuation / Investment / Financial Planning Industry
  • Experience working with validation, data accuracy, and exceptions, as well as market and custodian data
  • Proficiency in high-volume data manipulation and ETL (Excel, SQL, DB2, SSIS)
  • Experience with task management and documentation processes and tooling (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high work demands while building and maintaining outstanding internal and external client relationships
