IT Testing Function Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple testing projects to approved scope, quality expectations, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver test functions in collaboration with external testing service providers.
- Assure activities across all test deliverables, including review of test estimates, strategies, schedules, plans, and completion reports.
- Promote and instil test process excellence, efficiency, and reduced cost to project deployment.
Manage testing vendors to quality commitments and define test strategy for business intelligence projects. Perform a combined lead and test execution role on large pieces of project work as assigned by the solution design and test governance manager.
Key Tasks:- Project planning, resourcing, and scheduling of engagements, providing support to business operations for delivery planning of other engagements.
- Provide leadership to internal and external teams, assist teams as required with the delivery of services.
- Ensure services and product delivery meets clients' expectations and adhere to customer delivery requirements.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience in governing and managing the IT testing function, preferably within a financial service organisation. They should have experience leading large teams and programs for delivery of technical outcomes, proven reporting and documentation skills, Agile delivery lead experience, and expertise with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
