Legal Counsel Position

We are seeking a skilled and business-focused Legal Counsel to join our APAC legal team.

This key role will provide critical support to our business partners in the Asia-Pacific region by offering comprehensive legal advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Go-To-Market teams in APAC to drive strategic partnerships and initiatives for cloud-based accounting software companies, leveraging global perspectives.
  • Provide authoritative legal advice to internal stakeholders on their defined areas of responsibility, including Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Support.
  • Review, negotiate, and draft essential legal documents, such as vendor supply agreements and marketing partner contracts.
  • Ensure the organization remains informed and compliant with relevant legislation impacting operations.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years PQE (in-house legal experience highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to be a commercially savvy business partner to busy Go-To-Market teams.
  • Current legal practicing certificate in AU or NZ.
  • Experience providing legal advice to technology sector companies an asset.
