NSW RTW Provider:

  • Contractor-only model, joining top consultants who are taking the market by storm.
  • Excellent contracting rates, ranging between $115-$120 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Well-established induction process, templates, and procedures, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Allied Health owned, with a flat-line culture, prioritizing contractor satisfaction.
  • Ongoing work and guaranteed hours available.

As a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant, you will use your initiative to solve problems and work creatively to secure the best outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management of clients with physical and/or psychological conditions, prioritizing their rehabilitation needs.
  • Assessment of DVA/NSW RTW clients' rehabilitation needs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans to promote successful transition from Australian Defence Force to civilian life.
  • Undertaking specific home and activities of daily living assessments, informing rehabilitation strategies.
  • Coordination of return-to-work plans (vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations) and non-return-to-work plans (engagement in treatment and psychosocial activities).
  • Delivery of evidence-based early intervention and occupational rehabilitation services, enhancing client outcomes.
  • Motivational interviewing to enhance engagement in meaningful occupations, promoting client autonomy.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders within a multidisciplinary clinical context, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Completion of high-level written reporting, documenting client progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • DVA Contracting: Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Social Work, with relevant registration/membership.
  • NSW RTW Contracting: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy, with relevant registration/membership.
  • Injury Management experience gained within an occupational rehabilitation setting, demonstrating expertise.
  • The ability to work effectively on an independent basis, making informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal & written), facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Good relationship-building and time management ability, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • ACN or ABN, Professional Indemnity Insurance, and a current driver's license, enabling flexible work arrangements.
