We are seeking a driven and energetic professional with a passion for Occupational Rehabilitation to join our team in Tamworth NSW.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Rehabilitation Consultant, providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological. You will have the support of a strong, close team of healthcare professionals and the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure.

Your Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Case management, including developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Completing assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments;
  • Delivering innovative virtual reality pain education programs, Re-thinking Recovery.

You Will Thrive In This Role If:

  • You have a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA and SIRA accreditation;
  • You have previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry;
  • You possess fabulous communication skills and can build rapport with clients and stakeholders;
  • You are compassionate, kind, and empathetic, with excellent time management skills;
  • You hold a current NSW Driver's License and have access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
