Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all tasks within your area are performed safely, adhering to established procedures for maximum productivity without incidents.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Plan shift tasks in collaboration with the Superintendent.
  • Allocate machinery, work areas, and tasks to employees.
  • Direct and supervise workers in your project area.
  • Closely monitor new or inexperienced employees.
  • Oversee daily line-ups and safety meetings with the crew.
  • Implement disciplinary and counseling procedures when employees fail to meet their responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and display a positive attitude.
  • Hold extensive experience in high-speed single heading development environments.
  • Analyze and evaluate multifaceted situations to determine safe and productive methods for task completion.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, earning respect from management and subordinates alike.

You are a driven individual with 10 years of experience in underground tunnel development and workforce training within an underground environment. Your proven history of successfully supervising and safely guiding multiple crews through hazardous work projects showcases your exceptional abilities as a leader.
