Domestic Assistant Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential cleaning services to our aged clients living in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing daily domestic assistance to clients including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, making beds, and changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and hanging, folding, and ironing washing.
  • Assisting with tasks associated with this role such as dusting and performing manual handling work instructions.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to management.

Requirements:

  • A current Driver License and permanent access to a Registered Vehicle.
  • Respectful communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other stakeholders.
  • A capacity to perform home care tasks satisfactorily and within guidelines.
  • An understanding of boundaries required to maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • Smart Phone literacy and awareness of Australian Work Rights.
