Physiotherapist | Edward Collick Home

The Physiotherapist will provide physiotherapy services to residents within Amana Living's residential care facilities. This includes assessing the physical and mobility needs of residents, planning person-centered interventions, and delivering and evaluating these therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' mobility, falls risk, and physical ability.
- Develop holistic, individualized, resident-focused care plans in partnership with the resident and their carer/advocate and Amana Living team.
- Provide individualized physiotherapy interventions and services, including equipment prescription, to enable residents to maintain mobility, reduce risk of falls, and maximize quality of life.
- Conduct frequent reviews of treatment objectives and interventions to ensure their continued application, efficacy, and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of group exercise programs in assigned residential care sites.
- Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)
- Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
- Experience leading teams, motivating others, and collaborating to achieve objectives
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
