Job Summary
This challenging yet rewarding position requires a highly skilled educator who can develop and implement engaging learning experiences for students in both primary and prep education. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong background in primary education and experience in classroom management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver innovative lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and social growth.
- Develop strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, promoting open communication and collaboration.
- Participate in school functions and events, contributing to the overall well-being and development of students.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education, ensuring high-quality instruction and assessment methods.
Requirements
- A relevant teaching qualification, preferably with specialization in primary education.
- Current QCT registration (mandatory).
- Significant experience in primary school teaching, preferably in an independent school setting.
Compensation Package
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of $65,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as superannuation contributions, paid parental leave, and access to wellbeing programs.
