Job Opportunity

SchoolHouse is working in partnership with a Prep-Year 12 Christian school in Brisbane, providing a high-quality education and academic rigour in a caring environment. The school focuses on staff professional development and a collegial organisational structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Primary students in an Upper or Lower setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic and behavioural standards
  • Integrate faith and learning in an authentic and engaging manner
  • Model Christian living and character
  • Profess a Christian belief and regularly attend a church fellowship

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification
  • Specialist teaching area qualifications
  • Effective teaching practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • High degree of technological literacy
  • Prior experience teaching using iPads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
  • Queensland College of Teachers Registration
