As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication between healthcare providers and patients who speak diverse languages. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality care, regardless of their linguistic background.

About the Role:
  • We offer a fully remote position with a clear schedule, allowing you to work comfortably from the convenience of your own home or office.
  • This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, providing flexibility to suit your needs and lifestyle.
  • With immediate availability after onboarding, you can begin working with us right away.
Your Responsibilities:
  1. Answer calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreters Code of Conduct and maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
  2. Stay up-to-date with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in the areas of healthcare and medicine.
  3. Pursue ongoing professional training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  4. Communicate effectively with your team leader and colleagues, ensuring seamless collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • You possess a native-level proficiency in English and the target language (Hmong), with a strong command of both spoken and written communication.
  • A minimum of one year's experience as an interpreter, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrate exceptional emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and tolerance for diverse backgrounds.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
