Job Title: Financial Analyst

Join our organization in this exciting opportunity to form part of a specialist financial investigations team.

Job Description:

The role involves managing concurrent financial investigations involving relatively straightforward financial analyses in accordance with relevant legislation, accounting standards and Commission policies and procedures. You will be involved in interrogating financial information, databases and other information sources to inform and progress financial investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and hone specialist forensic accounting and financial analysis capabilities to trace proceeds of crime and identify assets held by those suspected of criminal misconduct
  • Challenging and varied types of matters, ensuring no two days are the same
  • Sydney CBD location

You will be expected to provide logical and succinct conclusions ensuring that litigation can commence at an operationally appropriate time.

Requirements:
  • degree qualifications and/or relevant experience in the financial analysis field or another relevant discipline
  • proven ability to communicate technical and financial concepts clearly
