Job Summary

The role of Simulator Pilot Instructor involves delivering high-quality training, administrative and subject matter expertise support for various pilot courses. This position will be based at a military base.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as required
  • Deliver simulator instruction to pilot students
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials that support syllabus delivery
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor in an aircrew training environment
  • Hold a minimum 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew and tactical transport aircraft (C-27J, C-130J or similar)
  • Experience as a flight simulator instructor is highly regarded
  • Hold a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised equivalent experience

This role requires strong communication skills, adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
