About The Role

The Commis Chef will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine in the preparation and presentation of dishes. This includes assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment, and ensuring compliance with company and statutory hygiene requirements.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chef de Cuisine in the preparation and presentation of dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
  • Ensure compliance with company and statutory hygiene requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Culinary school graduate or equivalent experience
  • Experience in commercial cookery, preferably with Asian and Western cuisine
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
