About the Role

This is a newly created and varied role within the Legal, Governance and Risk directorate, where you will spend your workdays:

  • Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis using sophisticated techniques to identify causes and devise solutions for a wide range of legal matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, briefing papers, internal policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards and organisational policies.
  • Providing support in the development of compliance frameworks, governance structures and systems to manage legal risks effectively.
  • Liaising between internal and external stakeholders, as well as relevant third parties and counselling on the progress of cases.
  • Providing administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation and legal record management.
About You

We're seeking a dynamic, efficient, and engaging individual who possesses the following key attributes:

  • A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
  • A tertiary qualification in the relevant area of study.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and legal research tools.
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal would be well regarded.
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Capacity to carry out research, analyse data and offer sound recommendations.
