Principal Contract Officer

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to manage contracts and ensure timely recognition, notification, and management of notices.
Main Responsibilities:- Tender Management: Prepare and issue tender package documentation and ensure procurement schedules align with delivery requirements.
- Contract Administration: Maintain a register of notices, manage contracts in the contract management system, and ensure that insurances are current for subcontracts.
- Claims and Disputes: Promptly address and manage claims/disputes and refer them to the Commercial Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, or equivalent.
- Relevant commercial administration experience in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or associated disciplines.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and exposure to a contract management system.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as a graduate certificate or diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Construction, Property, Quantity Surveying, Law, or other related fields.
- Experience managing projects with varying values and complexity.
- Understanding of document control procedures according to records management protocols.
- Able to interpret and apply relevant legislation/code to prevent potential business exposure.
