- Job Title: Library Applications Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Library Applications Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Collections & Access Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all digital library systems and services provide a high-quality user experience for our community.
This role involves working independently and as part of a team to improve the experience of students, academics, and researchers in discovering and accessing library resources. You will assess and advocate for improvements to library systems and related processes, and document systems including key interfaces with university systems.
In addition, you will seize opportunities for library technologies to positively impact teaching, learning, and research outcomes. To be successful, you will need:
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in supporting integration between existing systems in a complex operating environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to make informed decisions regarding complex issues.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills allowing effective communication with staff across the organisation and a demonstrated commitment to a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated capacity to work as an effective team member or independently as required by the task or situation.
- Knowledge of contemporary use of APIs, HTML, CSS, and scripting languages such as PowerShell.
The successful candidate will have sound experience in functional system administration and configuration and current awareness of emerging technology and trends relevant to academic libraries.
