Paid Search Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Search Specialist to join our team at Bluefin Resources. As a Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing our search engine marketing (SEM) acquisition and retention strategy to deliver on program and fund objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire day-to-day SEM program across acquisition and retention
  • Act as the fund's SME and thought leader in the search space, and coach team and broader department on best practices
  • AB testing and driving continual improvement to the program around bids, ad copy, keyword optimization, and targeting
  • Work with the Marcomms team to analyze and strategize creative optimization (ad copy and landing pages) of the program to produce better results
  • Work with data science/analytics to uncover actionable insights to improve channel effectiveness, increase acquisition numbers, and drive a lower CPA
  • Leverage Google 360 across ad serving & trafficking, tracking & attribution, data analysis & reporting for program optimization and upward trending ROI against KPIs and targets
  • Work with external agencies to ensure Google is delivering as part of overall digital program
  • Deliver positive and upward trending ROI against KPIs & targets by implementing evidence-based test and learn programs across new and existing SEM tactics and audiences

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years' experience within a similar role
  • Expert in SEM, with hands-on client or agency experience
  • Strong SA360 experience, plus Google Analytics
  • Background managing complex SEM programs with multiple objectives, products, and audience segments
  • Strategic, creative thinking, planning, analytical skills, and very strong with data and drawing data-led insights to inform optimization decisions
  • Extensive experience in organizing and prioritizing own workload to deliver projects on-time, to budget, and to the desired standard
  • Excellent communications skills, high attention to detail, and ability to influence stakeholders effectively
  • Strong understanding of other performance channels, i.e., programmatic, paid social, affiliates, and how they work across the acquisition funnel
  • Significant experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
