Job Summary:
The Dispensary Associate is responsible for guiding customers on their journey into cannabis by educating them on the benefits and potential side effects. In this role, you will need to be knowledgeable enough to speak to customers about various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
- Provide empathy and compassion to patients.
- Facilitate customer purchases while adhering to state regulations.
- Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns and customer issues.
- Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Work directly with leadership to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist customers with product or device issues.
- Document customer issues and concerns on customer profiles.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- May be required to perform additional team tasks as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clear driving record for delivery driver role.
- Follow all company policies and procedures as a delivery associate.
Requirements:
- High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age (or 18 years of age in CT, PA, and WV).
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus.
- Must have prior cash handling experience.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and with various personalities.
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism.
- Able to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
- Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely.
- Able to communicate in conversational English.
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform job duties.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clear driving record for delivery driver role.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly required to move/traverse throughout the facility, accurately communicate, and observe details.
- Frequently required to manipulate objects, push/pull objects up to 50lbs, and lift/carry/position objects up to 50lbs.
- Occasionally required to remain in a seated position.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours depending on store needs.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
