Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (0.4 Fte - Term 3 Onwards)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for a fixed term contract commencing Term 3.

About the Role

This role involves teaching Physical Education and Sports programs to students in a collaborative environment, utilizing the Victorian Curriculum as a reference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program for 19 classes.
  • Coordinate and oversee School Athletics & Swimming Carnivals.
  • Assist senior school class teachers with inter-school organisation - Summer and Winter seasons.
  • Coordinate school representatives for zone and regional swimming; cross-country; athletics.
  • Coordinate whole school events eg. Colour Fun Run, Footy Roadshow.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Physical Education and Sports teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • Registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T.
  • Possibly accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School.
