Microbiologist Specialist

Are you a skilled professional seeking a challenging role in microbiology?

We are currently looking for an experienced Scientist to join our Microbiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated diagnostic testing, as well as assisting with stock control and maintaining all equipment in line with protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science or equivalent, with demonstrated experience and knowledge within the respective discipline. You will also have sound knowledge of QC, QAP and troubleshooting, and be able to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation/certification.

A strong ability to work independently with infrequent supervision, combined with a positive attitude towards achieving outcomes and being a cohesive team member, is essential for this role. Additionally, you will possess strong time management, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
