About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Electrical Testing Technician to join our Western Sydney team at Stowe Australia.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining, testing, and servicing High Voltage equipment, including transformers, switchboards, ring main units, circuit breakers, and substation/industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all works in a safe, effective, and productive manner.
  • Conduct inspections and testing procedures in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plans.
  • Report all unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries, and incidents to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Standards.
  • Maintain ongoing skills development and Electrical licensing requirements.
  • Conduct isolations in accordance with Stowe Australia's mandatory 4 stages of isolation procedure.
  • Ensure all electrical work is conducted in accordance with Stowe Australia's Arc Flash Clothing requirements.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of High Voltage testing throughout the employee engagement process.
  • Have experience in High Voltage switching.
  • Extensive experience in the maintenance of High Voltage equipment.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Electrical License.
  • A self-motivated approach with an ability to work unsupervised.
  • Current CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Good communication skills – interpersonal & organisational.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance to work.
