Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and committed individual to join our team as a public amenities cleaner. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public amenities in the Greater Dandenong area.

This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, including early morning starts. You must be available for callouts within your allocated workday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manual cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and pressure washers
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in work areas
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors

In addition to these responsibilities, you may be required to perform other duties as needed.

 

Requirements:
  • Manual driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current police check
  • First aid training preferable
  • White card preferable
  • Previous cleaning experience desirable
  • Basic literacy skills
  • Ability to understand instructions

 

Training and Support:

We provide comprehensive training for new staff members, including on-the-job training and regular supervision.
