Job Title: Assistant Account Manager - Surety

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with Account Managers/Producers to assist in the management of our clients' accounts. You will also be responsible for understanding suretyship and analyzing documents for surety requirements and risk exposures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of client accounts, including the renewal cycle and servicing of client accounts
  • Analyze documents for surety requirements and risk exposures
  • Understand bond forms and assist in the issuance of bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, license bonds, and other surety bonds
  • Communicate effectively with others and demonstrate proficiency with Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Adobe, and other programs
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Level 1 or 2 Insurance license is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Office Administration Certificate or Diploma would be an asset
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and procedures
  • Precise and detail-oriented, able to accurately input and find errors in large bodies of information
  • Maintain dependability and come to work prepared, on-time
