About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to provide efficient and effective administrative assistance across the ICT Department at Western Downs Regional Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake procurement activities on behalf of the ICT department;
  • Design, implement and maintain effective administrative processes;
  • Assist in the development of the ICT Governance Committee meeting documentation and take meeting minutes;
  • Pro-actively follow up on various tasks actioned to you by the ICT Manager, Program Manager and ICT Operations Coordinator;
  • Management of ICT contractors budget including tracking and requesting journals.
Requirements
  • High level of written and oral communication skills, including the ability to gain co-operation and assistance from clients and other employees and to communicate and present to a variety of stakeholders to all levels;
  • An ability to manage change in a corporate environment;
  • Ability to be proactive and respond in a timely manner to all requests;
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including ability to handle complex problems; and
  • The ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at all levels.
