You will contribute to a range of projects and initiatives that help shape and connect our city, providing real-world opportunities to grow, develop, and progress.

  • Be proficient in programming languages such as R and Python.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Possess basic SQL skills and understand relational databases and database design.
  • Demonstrate statistical methods to analyse data and draw actionable insights.
  • Have exposure to machine learning, deep learning, and advanced modelling techniques and algorithms.
  • Be knowledgeable across data science domains, including classification, forecasting, unsupervised learning, Bayesian modelling, natural language processing, image processing, reinforcement learning, and generative AI.
  • Stay up-to-date with AI concepts and technologies and apply them to practical business challenges.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience or coursework related to cloud data warehouse solutions, such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
