Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Energy Principal to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of the energy sector to drive business growth and develop new clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining executive-level relationships and advising on complex strategic problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the energy practice within Nous Group
  • Lead client development activities, including project origination and conversion
  • Leverage existing relationships and build new ones with board, executive, and management leaders in the energy sector
  • Lead strategy and business transformation projects in the energy sector with senior client engagement
  • Stay up-to-date on significant strategic considerations in Australia's energy transition and engage clients on these topics
  • Develop corporate and business unit strategies for energy sector businesses
  • Support retailers, network businesses, developers, and the broader energy sector in meeting their net-zero goals and securing social acceptance for their projects
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the energy sector, with a strong track record of solving complex strategic problems
  • Proven ability to maintain executive-level relationships and advise on strategic matters
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching less experienced consultants
  • Ability to innovate and introduce new ideas, with a passion for collaboration and teamwork
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to lead and influence others
