Community Development Specialist – Culturally Responsive Services

This role is focused on delivering culturally safe and responsive services to individuals at risk of or experiencing family violence in the Barwon Region.
- Foster relationships with community members and local services to develop a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and interventions for families affected by family violence.
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with Aboriginal-specific services and organizations within the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working across multiple sites, including The Orange Door and Wathaurong Home Agency Sites. This requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Aboriginal Hub Practitioner will be an integral part of the Wathaurong Family Services team, contributing to the development and delivery of family violence initiatives and programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community and advance your career in social services.

- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
