Join Our Team as a Cellar Hand

Chapel Hill, a renowned winery, is seeking a skilled Cellar Hand to join their team. As a Cellar Hand, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality wine production while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to business procedures to embed safety, quality, and sustainability into the culture and ways of working
  • Champion and maintain the highest possible wine quality standards
  • Support other team members and promote a positive team environment
  • Follow all reasonable health and safety instructions and safe working procedures and actively encourage safety
  • Identify and report hazards, risks, incidents, or unsafe practices
  • Accurate recording of information regarding all cellar tasks
  • Completion of designated cellar tasks in a timely manner
  • Other cellar duties and the ongoing QC program
Requirements:
  • Wine Transfers
  • Tanker Loading/Unloading
  • Wine Additives
  • Tank Cleaning & Sanitising
  • Cellar/personal Hygiene
  • Vintage Operations – press/crush/ferment management/yeast etc
  • Barrel/Oak operations
  • Undertake training and assessment to increase and maintain skill levels
