Oromax is seeking a skilled Personal Assistant to join our dynamic team. As the nominated surgeon's right-hand person, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional administrative services and supporting the practice's smooth operation.

About the Role:

  1. As the Personal Assistant, you will be the central point of coordination between the surgeon, the practice team, patients, and other colleagues.
  2. You will provide efficient administrative support, assist in training team members, and uphold the required standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the practice, surgeons, patients, and colleagues.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Administration Manager to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  3. Open and maintain reception/admin desks, ensuring appropriate cover throughout the day.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact for the nominated surgeon, coordinating and filtering necessary information.
  5. Manage the nominated surgeon's calendar and ensure seamless scheduling.
  6. Promote teamwork and support continuous process improvements across all Oromax staff.
  7. Work closely with the Administration Manager and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the practice.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  2. Demonstrated excellence in customer/patient care with a high attention to detail.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  4. Knowledge of medical terminology and/or health insurance schemes is desirable.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  6. Ability to perform tasks with accountability and discretion.
  7. Confidentiality of all patient and practice information.
  8. Current first aid certificate.
  9. Certificate III Dental Assistant or similar desirable.
