Drive Retail Success as a Senior Business Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a leading retail group. In this key role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving business performance, enhancing system capabilities, and ensuring alignment across retail operations.

The Role
  • You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, and technical leads to deliver business analysis expertise on projects spanning retail systems, supply chain, and operational processes.

About the Job:

  • Engage with stakeholders across retail operations, supply chain, and IT to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyse current retail systems (Sympac) and processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the enhancement of suggested ordering processes to support stock accuracy, availability, and customer demand.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Map business processes and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support integration of new systems and enhancements.
  • Provide end-to-end BA support including workshops, user story development, and UAT coordination.
  • Act as the bridge between business units and technical delivery teams to ensure seamless project outcomes.
Your Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in retail or supply chain environments
  • Strong knowledge of retail ERP systems - Sympac highly regarded
  • Experience working with suggested ordering processes, stock management, and supply chain workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven capability in stakeholder engagement across operational, technical, and executive teams
  • Excellent documentation, process mapping, and requirements elicitation skills
  • Exposure to systems integration, change management, and user acceptance testing
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
