As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects. This encompasses planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating engineering work, monitoring compliance to codes and standards, and ensuring effective communication and coordination between disciplines and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain quality control of earthworks and surrounding infrastructure on site.
- Provide technical expertise and support to projects as part of assigned teams.
- Accurately document observations, analysis results, assumptions and conclusions into comprehensive reports.
- Review contractors' proposed methodologies and plans to ensure suitability to meet technical requirements.
- Ensure contractors work efficiently to avoid time or cost overruns.
- Verify that contractors meet site safety and environmental standards at all times.
- Verify that contractors meet specification and quality control requirements.
- Collaborate with contractor personnel to optimize performance from a schedule and cost perspective.
- Review contractors' progress and highlight areas where progress is behind schedule.
- Prepare daily and weekly site reports covering safety, environment, quality and schedule.
- Prepare a final construction report upon completion of each project.
