The OpportunityOur industry-leading M&A practice group has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Legal Assistant to join them on a full-time basis in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities- Manage billing processes for your direct team, including clients with specific and more complex billing and administration requirements.
- Assist with meeting and event preparation, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
- C coach and mentor team Administrative Assistants to enhance their skills and performance.
- Support the team's business development needs by identifying opportunities and implementing strategies.
- Coordinate and manage a broad variety of responsibilities and deliverables, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Manage Partners' internal and external appointments, ensuring effective communication and efficient time management.
The successful candidate will possess a passion for working collaboratively within a team, a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work, and strong attention to detail.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a mergers and acquisitions environment.
- Previous billing experience is essential, with a proven ability to manage complex billing and administration requirements.
- Ability to anticipate Partner requirements, reducing administrative time and enhancing productivity.
- The ability to work at least four days in the office, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Previous matter management experience, with a strong understanding of case management systems and procedures.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
