A leading national manufacturer is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a skilled Storeperson to join their team.

About the Role:

  • High Reach Forklift Operation: Safely operate high reach forklifts to retrieve stock from up to 5 racks high.
  • Counter Balance Forklift Operation: Load and unload trucks and containers using a counter balance forklift.
  • Inventory Management: Transport palletized stock throughout the warehouse and to manufacturing and production lines.
  • Receiving and Dispatch: Receive goods, mark stock off per delivery sheets, dispatch goods, and mark stock off for delivery per customer invoices.
  • Unpacking and Allocation: Unpack goods and allocate them into racking.
  • Pick Packing: Pick and pack customer orders.
  • Internal Stock Deliveries: Deliver stock to the warehouse and manufacturing departments.
  • Assisting in Assembly: Assist in assembling products when required.
  • Stock Take and Inventory Counts: Conduct regular stock takes and inventory counts.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance checks on products before dispatch.
  • Data Entry: Enter data for ingoing and outgoing goods and match to customer paperwork.

Shift and Work Environment:

  • Day Shift: 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of high reach and counter balance forklift operating experience.
  • Receiving and dispatch experience.
  • Pick packing and palletizing stock experience.
  • Computer knowledge for data entry of stock amounts and customer invoices.
  • Shrink wrapping experience (manual and machine operated).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent WHS knowledge.
