Job Overview:

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive technology strategies aligned with business goals. As the Chief Network Defender, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure network infrastructures, identifying and mitigating potential security risks, and enforcing industry-standard security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing enterprise-wide technology strategies to support business objectives and security needs.
  • Designing and implementing secure network architectures, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and other security measures to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Creating and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for security initiatives.
  • Monitoring and improving the performance of technology systems to meet security requirements and business needs.
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies and solutions to enhance security capabilities and reduce risks.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of networking, security, and IT infrastructure principles.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for network and security architecture.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
  • The ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud computing, integration practices, and commercial software applications.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CCIE.
