Lead Educator Opportunity

Sparrow Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Education professional to join our team as a Lead Educator.

About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and practices that support the development of young minds. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to lead your assistant educators and provide a safe, creative, responsive, and nurturing environment that engages our children and encourages them to investigate, explore, and extend on their current skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement play-based educational programs and practices that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Lead and mentor assistant educators to ensure high-quality care and education is provided to children.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to achieve the centre's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Proven experience in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
