About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Sparrow Early Learning Centre in Upper Coomera. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering funded kindergarten programs within a long day care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 3-5 years.
  • Work in partnership with the leadership team to plan a rich and diverse educational program.
  • Implement the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards in all aspects of the program.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the community.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education (in Early Childhood Education) or equivalent qualification.
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current and valid Working with Children check.
  • First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
  • Experience working with children with a range of abilities and interests.
