About the Position

Are you passionate about building strong professional connections and driving collaboration in education? We're seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator to develop and maintain key partnerships across our organisation.

This role reports directly to the General Manager Community Education and focuses on creating, developing, and nurturing stakeholder relationships to drive student recruitment and outcomes. The primary objective is to increase referrals to all community education programs.

  • Establish, maintain, strengthen, and service stakeholders, including council representatives, employers, industry associations, employment services providers, and government agencies.
  • Support commUnity+ education and training programs by referring clients to adult migrant English programs, employment programs, English as an additional language, and skills for education and employment.

This is an onsite role primarily based at the St Albans site; however, the position may require attendance at other locations from time to time. This is a fixed-term, part-time position averaging 22.8 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including council representatives, employers, industry associations, and employment services providers.
  2. Foster communication, represent our values, and ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and empowered.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to increase referrals to community education programs.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports of stakeholder interactions and program engagement.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in business, communications, education, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority frameworks and RTO compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the vocational education and training sector, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and challenges effectively.
  • Excellent planning and coordination abilities with experience in organizing events and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
