Stockroom Professional - Assembly Technician

This role presents an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and accuracy are paramount. We seek a detail-oriented individual who can contribute to delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and stage stock for customer orders using a forklift.
  • Ensure transportation documents are accurate.
  • Conduct inventory checks and monthly stocktakes.
  • Perform tyre and rim fitments, including inflation and quality checks.
  • Load and prepare assemblies for delivery, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Support operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Learn and apply office processes for order and dispatch documentation.
  • Relieve the supervisor during absence.
  • Maintain Bridgestone's safety standards and E8 Commitment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of warehousing and distribution procedures.
  • Current forklift operator's certificate and driver's licence are essential.
  • Experience in the tyre or automotive industry (desirable).
  • Tyre fitting experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and process-driven work ethic.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to listen to and follow instructions and procedures and work well within a team and unsupervised.
  • Willingness to learn practical, procedural, and computer-based tasks.
  • Computer literacy essential; experience with SAP and Marlin desirable.
