About Your Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care to clients living at home or in group homes with various disabilities.

About Us:

H1 Group provides staffing support to healthcare clients across various sectors, including disability, aged care, and more.

Our vision is to enrich the lives of our healthcare workers and clients through our supportive work culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Building rapport with clients and their families
  • Adhering to care plans and NDIS frameworks
  • Domestic tasks, including household cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
  • Close supervision and prompting for community mobility
  • Prompting and encouragement for completion of ADLs
  • Assistance with home exercise programs
  • Supervising medications and assisting with personal care
  • Encouraging clients to check their schedules and attend appointments

Requirements:

  • Current Police Check, First Aid, and CPR certificate
  • Australian background with strong English communication skills
  • Experience assisting with ADLs
  • FULL Australian License
  • Able to use initiative and commit to regular shifts
