About the Role

As a Service Lead Child & Family Support, you will lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to provide a holistic customer service experience for families accessing early years services, including Maternal and Child Health and Kindergarten.

You will coordinate operational support functions for early years services, such as registration, enrolments, bookings, financial functions, customer service, administration, business services support, system development and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a cohesive customer service approach for all families and residents accessing early years services in Wyndham
  • Strengthen systems and processes to measure engagement with families and community to increase responsiveness and participation in early years services
  • Deliver high-quality customer service outcomes in accordance with relevant Government policies and guidelines associated with Maternal Child Health & Early Education & Care Services
  • Utilize well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, people and resource management skills to drive business outcomes
  • Experience in developing, delivering and coordinating Maternal Child Health and/or Early Education and Care programs is desirable
  • Degree or Diploma in a business-related discipline with several years' relevant experience or lesser formal qualification with extensive experience
  • Current employee Working with Children Check and holding a valid Victorian Driver's licence
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
