  • Monitor and maintain the quality of compositing work, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of film VFX processes and pipeline, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Lead daily reviews with the Compositing team, ensuring open communication and collaboration
  • Balance creative and technical aspects of each shot/sequence, solving complex compositing challenges
  • Take a leadership role in guiding the longer-term goals of the 2D department, including team development and pipeline improvement
  • On-set VFX supervision for 2D-based projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the production team
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a compositing or VFX environment
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Deep understanding of film VFX processes and pipeline
  • Knowledge and experience in stereoscopic projects, native and post-stereo
  • Expert user of Nuke and other compositing software
  • Critical eye for detail and a strong compositing showreel
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proven artist management and leadership skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
Desirable Skills
  • On-set VFX supervision experience
  • Python or TCL programming skills
