Drama and Visual Arts Teacher Position

About the Role
Australind Senior High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama and Visual Arts Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for teaching and delivering drama and visual arts courses to students in Years 7 to 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and deliver drama and visual arts courses to students in Years 7 to 12
- Create and design engaging lesson plans with clear learning objectives and outcomes
- Use existing learning materials and develop your own as required
- Document and maintain assessment results in accordance with policies and procedures
- Evaluate and monitor student learning and course progress
- Play a role in student consultations, assessment grading, and moderation
- Lead the drama program at Australind Senior High School
Requirements
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have a strong commitment to inclusive education and a strategic approach to planning for improved student outcomes
- Be able to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of students with a range of achievement levels, language backgrounds, and learning difficulties
- Have a willingness to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students
