About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Teacher to join our team at Augusta Primary School. As a Music Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching Music across a range of ability levels from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Music to students from Kindergarten to Year 6
  • Develop and implement engaging Music lessons that cater to individual student needs
  • Establish and lead a school band and choir to showcase students' talents
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop a culture of excellence in The Arts teaching and learning programs
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience in teaching Music to students from Kindergarten to Year 6
  • Be able to develop and implement engaging Music lessons that cater to individual student needs
  • Have experience in establishing and leading a school band and choir
  • Be able to collaborate with the teaching team to develop a culture of excellence in The Arts teaching and learning programs
