Perinatal Support Specialist

At Ngala, we are seeking a Perinatal Support Specialist to join our team. This part-time position will be based at Ngala, Kensington.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to work with new and expecting parents, guiding them and their families throughout their perinatal journey.
- We require someone who can build productive relationships and stakeholder engagement with key individuals and groups, including clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- The successful candidate will possess knowledge and understanding of mental health issues in antenatal, birth, and the postnatal period.
- A Bachelor or Diploma in Social Work, Nursing, or Psychology is essential, along with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership with the peak professional association.
You will be a compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment will enable you to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package, including $83,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 17.5% leave loading on 4 weeks Annual Leave. Additional benefits include Salary Packaging up to $9,010, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), free onsite parking, discounted Private Health care, and friendly work environment.
