Trades Qualified Machinist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled trades qualified machinist to take care of the upkeep and maintenance of all production machinery within our manufacturing facility.

  • The ideal candidate will have a trade certified Toolmaker/Fitter qualification, along with strong experience in maintenance/reliability within plastics, pharmaceutical, FMCG or other highly regulated industries.
  • Additionally, they must possess proven experience in maintenance, fabrication and troubleshooting within a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with injection moulding machines is also required, as well as knowledge of computer maintenance management systems (MEX) or similar.
  • An electrical D-license is considered an asset.

Duties will include overseeing the continuous upkeep of all production machinery, working closely with the maintenance manager to identify and address any potential risks to plant and equipment.

  • Providing valuable feedback regarding plant improvements, preventative maintenance and potential efficiency gains while maintaining effective time management around the weekly production schedule.
  • Ensuring all safety issues are given high priority and addressed promptly.
  • Performing preventative maintenance, overhauls, small project work and fabrication tasks to ensure machine uptime and reliability.
