
Empowerment Specialist for Behaviour Support

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary support service, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and support teams to understand and address behaviours of concern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote dignity, autonomy, inclusion, and well-being;
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments to inform proactive support strategies;
- Monitor and evaluate plans, ensuring ongoing effectiveness;
- Manage a clinical caseload within your scope and meet key performance indicators;
- Engage in professional development to enhance your skills;
- Provide supervision to less experienced practitioners (if applicable).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registration as a Core Practitioner with all capabilities met or Proficient Practitioner (or eligibility for progression to this level);
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Psychology, Social Work, OT, ABA, Disability, Health);
- Current checks & licenses: National Police Check & NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, Australian driver's license & access to a vehicle, up-to-date immunisation history;
- Experience in disability-related fields.
