Electronics Technicians Wanted

We are looking for skilled electronics technicians to join our team in a permanent role. As an electronics technician, you will be responsible for providing support to the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of electronic products and equipment.

  • Technicians will work with a range of electronic devices including Muirhead Protection equipment, Smartrack Fleet Management systems, and Earthtrack Information systems.
  • They will carry out engineering test plans, run tests on products and equipment to identify and fix faults, install electronic components and operating firmware, modify and repair circuit boards, and liaise with the engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a certificate 3 in Electronics and Communications, minimum 2 years' experience or 5 years of industry experience, excellent skills for printed circuit board diagnostic's, repair and modification, and high level soldering skills for surface mount components.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of electronic products and equipment.
  • Carry out engineering test plans and run tests on products and equipment to identify and fix faults.
  • Install electronic components and operating firmware, modify and repair circuit boards, and liaise with the engineering team.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate 3 in Electronics and Communications.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience or 5 years of industry experience.
  • Excellent skills for printed circuit board diagnostic's, repair and modification.
  • High level soldering skills for surface mount components.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary package ranging from $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
