Coastal Modelling Expertise Required

We are seeking an experienced coastal modeller to work on national-scale to coastline-specific assessments, studies, and designs. This role involves working on coastal processes, hazard studies, zone management plans, engineering assessments, dredge studies, beach nourishment designs, erosion assessments, inundation/storm tide modelling and mapping, and coastal recession assessments.

About the Role

  • Experience in wave modelling, hydrodynamic (tidal/surges/cyclone) modelling, or sediment dynamics is necessary.
  • Proven experience in coastal modelling using software such as SWAN, Delft3D, MIKE SW/BW, XBEACH etc. is required.
  • Australian work visa is a mandatory requirement.
